Bob Likes Thai Food: Who's Bob?

Thanks to a fellow foodie friend, I was able to pay a visit to Bob Likes Thai Food located further in the Broadway-City Hall area for a tasting. It was my first time here though I had intended to come several times previously so I was surprised to see the cozy and almost hippie/surfer vibes from this restaurant. The interior is almost as charming as the owner, Thai, himself who is clearly very passionate about Thai food and making it more accessible to the local community.

Ramen Gojiro: The Expansion of the Menya Kouji Group

Ramen Gojiro is Vancouver's newest ramen addition which is managed under the same company's as Ramen Butcher in Chinatown (Menya Kouji Group)- which is quite obvious after noticing the design similarities between the two shops. However, unlike Ramen Butcher, Ramen Gojiro occupies a much smaller space and allows for a more cozy environment that most traditional ramen shops like to have.

Q Shi Q Japanese BBQ

Q Shi Q - a play on of 串 (kushi), the Japanese word for skewer - was actually scheduled to open a few days ago (when I paid my first visit only to find that they postponed their opening date) but only yesterday officially opened to the public for lunch and dinner. It's located in the midst of a neighbourhood of warehouse-y offices near Earnest Ice Cream just out of Olympic Village and is, visually, a very beautiful establishment.
