CN Tower 360 Revolving Restaurant

The inner tourist in me was loud and strong when my friends and I decided to make the ultimate tourist restaurant reservation at CN Tower's 360 Restaurant. Touristy destinations' restaurants like Vancouver's own Top of Vancouver Revolving Restaurant (downtown) aren't usually well received so I expected only a view and overpriced "food" when ascending the 33 floors via CN's high speed elevator. But...I guess you can say I was in for a surprise that night.

To my delight, I found JaBistro, a Japanese run modern bistro which prides itself in its quality ingredients and unique combinations on their menu.

Bahn Mi Boys

A restaurant that specializes in bahn mis? Done. I'm already sold. Bahn Mi Boys is a little store found on both Yonge and Queen Street that offers a variety of not only delicious bahn mis, but Asianized tacos and interesting steamed baos (soft Chinese buns). Oh and you definitely can't miss out on their famous kimchi fries which tastes like a Korean poutine. Lots of yum :)

The Starving Artist

I'll start off with reviewing my experience at The Starving Artist, a little restaurant near Lansdowne station which proudly specializes in servings one of my favourite foods: waffles. The Starving Artist nests at the corner of a row of bland looking shops. It's easy to miss so it might help if you look for the busiest shop on the block (it gets pretty crazy around noon when people start piling in for a meal).
