FOOD IN VANCOUVER, CANADA
FOOD IN Toronto, CANADA
During my most recent trip to Seoul this year, I was invited to Bistro Normal by Ryunique in Gangnam to have a taste of one of their popular tasting menus. Normal is the second venture of Ryu Tae-Hwan, the chef responsible for the 2017 Michelin guide's best French fine dining restaurants in Seoul, Ryunique. Though easily mislead by its name, Normal is really not as normal as it may sound. You can expect a more casual atmosphere here than at Ryunique but the food definitely does not disappoint.
Sorry for the hiatus, but I'm back on the blog! But this time I'm taking you all to the other side of the map - in South Korea! I spent roughly a month going through Seoul, Jeonju (the traditional food capital of Korea), and Busan visiting friends...and of course eating with them too. As a big fan of Korean food, my trip has been crazy packed with just eating - to my delight.
America is seriously all about burgers and Umami Burger is a prime example of excellence sandwiched between two buns. I've heard things about Umami Burger, about how amazing their burgers and fries are - so of course I jumped on the opportunity to try the food for myself when J and I were looking for something to eat at The Grove.
